Dr. Baron Optometrist
I love interacting with our patients and love working in private practice. I also enjoy resolving patients’ visual and eye problems and try to think outside the box. After getting my education and training on the East Coast, my goal was to find a home in a small college town that cannot grow too big. near a metropolitan area and the mountains. I found Golden after years of searching--and this is where I plan to stay! This is why I moved here to raise my family! I also enjoy Colorado's many outdoor activities, such as mountaineering, skiing, climbing, hiking, and camping.
Chrystal Optical Manager
I am the eyewear specialist and can help you find the perfect pair of glasses to fit both your visual needs and sense of style and fashion. I’ve been in this profession for 6 years and love what I do! My bubbly personality and smile will help make your experience at our clinic a pleasure. My hobbies include golf, music, crochet, ATVs, and cars.

Dawn Contact Lens Technician
I am one of the main liaisons between you and your vision care. I gather information about your eyes to help Dr Baron provide you with the best vision care possible. I help educate our patients as well as assist with the fitting of contacts and glasses. I enjoy meeting new people and helping to resolve our patients’ visual problems. I love spending my weekends gardening, camping, and hiking in the mountains.

Kathy Patient Manager
I work part-time at the reception desk, answering phones and making appointments. I enjoy talking to and greeting patients! I worked at Coors Brewing for over 29 years, where many of Dr Baron’s patients are employees. It’s great to see them here, too! I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing with my husband, and traveling.

John Technician/Computer
I am also a main liaison between you and your vision care, helping gather information and educate patients. I also assist with contacts lenses and glasses fittings And, I help maintain all the computers and printers in the office. In my free time I like to go hiking, camping, skiing, and spend time with friends and family.
Mindy Patient Manager
I’m one of the friendly voices that helps you on the phone! I also greet you at the door and help check you out when you’re done. I’m a college student and am studying to be a grade-school teacher. When I’m not working or in school, I enjoy seeing movies and socializing.
Laura Patient Manager
You can find me at the front desk most mornings, checking patients in and out, making appointments, and taking calls. I also file claims and follow up with the insurance companies. I enjoy camping and traveling with my family during the summer, and school events keep me busy all winter.
Marilyn Bookkeeper
I keep the lights on by paying all the bills! I also assist the staff as needed. I enjoy our patients and staff. We are very lucky to have such a great group of patients to care for. I also like to spend time with my husband and family. I love to cook, ski, hike, and exercise.
