Who does Computer Home Vision Therapy (CHVT) help?

Humans did not evolve to be on the computer or read as long or as intently as we do. Therefore we need to train our eyes to perform the tasks that we do. CHVT can help many people that have eye problems such as: trouble focusing, eyestrain, Computer Syndrome, lazy eye, and many other problems.

Why don’t glasses or a stronger prescription fix the problem?

Glasses or a stronger prescription will not fix the problem that you are having because the problem is within the muscles and workings of the eye itself, not with the seeing process.

How does Computer Home Vision Therapy work?

Computer Home Vision Therapy is a series of computer programs in conjunction with special glasses and lenses that test and train your eyes to work together, focus better and stronger, and perform other beneficial eye skills.

How often is Computer Home Vision Therapy used and how many times should I return to Golden Vision Clinic for follow-up?

CHVT is a series of 100 tests/runs in which you use the arrow keys or a joystick to show the direction the object is moving on the screen. The tests may seem very similar but they train and test your eyes to do different tasks.

1^st visit is to demonstrate the program and get you started

2^nd visit is 2 weeks after you start CHVT. (BRING YOUR DISC!) $76 = $60.80 prompt pay

            This visit is to evaluate your progress and to keep everything on track.

3^rd visit is 8 weeks after doing Auto Mode. (BRING YOUR DISC!) $76 = $60.80 prompt pay

            During this appointment you will change to manual mode, return lens flippers and begin maintenance practice. The maintenance CHVT is done for 20 minutes per week.

Is Computer Home Visual Therapy easy?

CHVT is very easy to use. The computer program can be used in your home; at your office and on the computer you use at school. The video shows you step-by-step how to install and use the computer program. The install will only take a few minutes to complete before you can begin your first session of Computer Home Visual Therapy. How much does CHVT cost?

The fee for Computer Home Vision Therapy Program is $203 = $162 with prompt pay.  Focusing patients need to pay a deposit of $143= $114.40 prompt pay  for the 3 flippers of lenses. If the flippers are all returned in good condition in 8 weeks your deposit will be returned in full. If the flippers are returned after 8 weeks or are damaged, $50 or less will be returned.
