Computer Cubicle

WHAT IS IT? A speciality lens designed for patients with high computer demands.

HOW IT WORKS? It works the same as other progressive lenses, in that the reading power increases from the top to the bottom without lines. The difference is that the “COMPUTER CUBICLE” entire top portion of the lens is set for intermediate vision (computer) rather than distance vision. This allows the unique feature of a wider viewing area for clear vision on the computer screen and at reading distances.

OTHER GREAT FEATURES? It can be made of either plastic or polycarbonate. The advantage of polycarbonate is that it decreases the lens thickness and weight. Polycarbonate lenses also have a built-in ultra-violet feature. “COMPUTER CUBICLE” also has an aspheric design that helps decrease the lens thickness.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM COMPUTER CUBICLE? Anyone who has: reduced focusing ability for reading, who uses the computer or does a great deal of reading. Also: Artists, Piano Players, Accountants, Architects

OTHER COATINGS TO HELP WITH HIGH COMPUTER DEMANDS? An ultra-violet coating helps eliminate harmful rays from the computer screen. Anti-reflective coating helps reduce the amount of glare reflected off the lenses and lets more light enter the eye, thus reducing eyestrain.

This lens has the two speeds of a normal progressive lens, Intermediate and Near.
