Digital Eye Camera

With our new computerized camera to photograph your eyes we have shared patients into many many important findings for their eye and whole body. Such as: increased redness, lid infections, plaques developing (inside and outside of the eye), high blood pressure and diabetic changes in the retina. For others the beginning of macular and glaucoma changes, which the outcome can be influenced! It is most helpful when a patient can see their own eyes, and understand these localized and whole body disease processes.

This also may minimize the frequency of dilation.

We strongly recommend that all patients have this procedure performed. It is exceptionally important for people who have:

  • Headaches
  • See spots or flashes of light
  • Family history of diabetes
  • Family history of glaucoma
  • Family history of high blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Reached the age of 40
